yeah looks like biting the bullet, going ryzen 5 2600 new mobo and RAM is the way to go, lucking I think theres a bit of life left in my GTX 1060 yet to do the upgrades justice.

My I5 4590 its nearing the end of its usefullness (regularly hitting 100% in recent games) I'm considering whether its worth going for an i7 on an 1150 socket or jumping to AMD and trying a Ryzen - assuming I can run DDR3 on a Ryzen board. At the moment I can't justify a new board CPU and...
