TheZ or the B one?

Is there any advantage to taking a Z-Chipped Mobo over a B-chipped one if I won't be overclocking? Other than the number of ports that is.

Been having some issues with my system since my upgrade (Check my other posts if needing some background) and seems like I need a new Motherboard. Based on what is in stock and actually within my budget i have narrowed down some options but need help deciding which offers the best value/features...

I was on the f29(dec 2023) version which i updated to f30 (sept 2024) last night. Before this i had a 1080 and a 750w antec psu and this issue did not occur. Exact same system apart from the GPU and PSU upgrade done now. And was gaming on it since I bought it which was sometime in Late...

So turns out there is a newer Bios update available. Will update and check if that helps with things and update the post accordingly

On the VRM MOS the max was 87 but that was 9 minutes before the shutdown. Byt the time it shut down it was only 75

Cant see a heading of VRM. Is it the VR VCC one? Max on that was 79 but that wasn't at the time it shut down. But the log was only on temps. I will run it again with default settings

I recently upgraded my GPU to a 4070 Super as well as upgrading the PSU to an FSP Vita GM 850W Gold. I haven't had any issues when playing Baldur's Gate 3. However when i play Warzone or Delta Force the system randomly shuts off (edit - indiana jones and the great circle as well) Then it loops...

I'm in south africa, out currency is in the cr*pper at the moment. Even going for a cheap build (asus prime h610-k d4, i7-13700f and g.skill f4 16gb) will put me back 12.4k 🫠. So yes, been looking at it but definitely going to take a bit of saving up. Thanks again

I am going to agree with you on that. Havent taken out the cpu since it was installed. Same for the cooler aside from the new thermal and reapplication now which was after the ram issues started. Thanks for the assist. Guess i gotta start saving up for that next upgrade now
