[SOLVED] 16GB Memory installed. BIOS detects it, Windows 10 detects it, but half of it is "system reserved."

Okay, my problem is solved. For <Mod Edit> and giggles, I decided to just swap the 4 modules around. RAM sticks 1 and 2 were in lanes A and C, and RAM sticks 2 and 4 were in lanes B and D. I switched them around to where RAM 1 and 2 are now in B and D, and 3 and 4 are now in A and C. For some...

[SOLVED] 16GB Memory installed. BIOS detects it, Windows 10 detects it, but half of it is "system reserved."

You must have missed the part where I mentioned that prior to the reinstallation of Windows 10, everything was detected and working properly.

[SOLVED] 16GB Memory installed. BIOS detects it, Windows 10 detects it, but half of it is "system reserved."

Title explains it all. I have a fresh installation of Windows 10 Home, and before I reinstalled Windows, everything was detected and working properly. Now for some reason, half of my RAM isn't detected. I've done extensive research on this matter and nothing I tried works. The RAM is all...

[SOLVED] Just bought a 10TB WD100EMAZ hard drive, and neither BIOS/UEFI or Windows 7 is detecting it.

I managed to fix my problem simply by updating my BIOS. I guess the moderators can officially mark this one as solved. Although I do wonder why, even though it is supposedly a 10TB hard drive, why it only shows 9TB available. There is only one partition on it.

[SOLVED] Just bought a 10TB WD100EMAZ hard drive, and neither BIOS/UEFI or Windows 7 is detecting it.

I taped over the third pin on the drive and it doesn't seem to have fixed anything. I used packing tape to just see if it would work, not as a permanent fix. BIOS still isn't recognizing it and neither is Windows. I don't know how to use UEFI to change the format of the drive so that it might be...

[SOLVED] Just bought a 10TB WD100EMAZ hard drive, and neither BIOS/UEFI or Windows 7 is detecting it.

Yes, it is 64-bit. The thing is, it's not an external drive. I'm not sure what you mean by WD Easystore External Drives. Is it a software? Derp. Edit: From reading your link I see now that it probably was a "shucked" drive. If it is then that definitely explains my issue. I'll have to find...

[SOLVED] Just bought a 10TB WD100EMAZ hard drive, and neither BIOS/UEFI or Windows 7 is detecting it.

Pretty self-explanatory. I bought it from someone on eBay for $190 which was a steal in my eyes, and it was listed as new. It is also a NAS drive, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with Windows recognizing it because I've never used one before. I've doubled checked all the cables and...

Windows crashed while playing a game, and now it freezes on Windows splash screen.

Just last week, I installed a new GPU, PSU, and an additional 8GB of RAM that's identical to what was already in there. I uninstalled the old GPU drivers and did a clean install of the new ones, just to make sure. I'm pretty sure it's not a driver issue. Every time I try to boot up my computer...

Question about my case and its fans... Which should be intake and which should be exhausting hot air?

My current set up is listed in my signature. Currently I've got all of my fans set up in this fashion: The only question I have is, which way should the side panel fan be blowing? My PSU blows air upward, and my GPU's fans blow down, and currently the side panel fan is sucking in cooler air. I...

Got a new (at least to me) GPU, and my monitors aren't getting signal from it.

I eventually figured it out all on my own, no thanks to you guys! (Just kidding, I appreciate all of the support I've received on this forum, regardless if it solved my problem or not.) What the problem ended up being was that the RAM that I put in alongside mine had the same voltage and speed...

Got a new (at least to me) GPU, and my monitors aren't getting signal from it.

I apparently can't directly reply from mobile, so I guess I'll reply in this way. I haven't changed anything about the input. Everything should still be set to default. I also can't even get to the UEFI to even adjust anything because nothing displays on my monitors. At all. I can't download and...

Got a new (at least to me) GPU, and my monitors aren't getting signal from it.

Let me explain in further detail: My brother gave me his old watercooled ASUS R9 390 DC2 GPU to replace my superclocked EVGA GTX 760 that I've had for 5 years. The R9, to be specific, has a NZXT Kraken x31 cooler on it. He also gave me his 850W modular power supply in case mine wasn't strong...
