I recently upgraded my PC a bit, added new ram, new PSU, new case. Before I did the case swap, i installed 8gb ram for a total of 16gb. Computer recognized it fine. I then did the case swap, & new psu, full reformat. Now the computer is only recognizing 8gb of the 16. Bios does not...

Right now I have a have an intel i5 2570k @ 3.40GHz, Not sure of my mobo, is it worth reusing my processor or is it outdated at this point? My biggest thing with my current system with 8gb ram is im experiencing a lot of lag during rendering photos in lightroom particularly.

Looking to build a PC for i'll use for photoshop and lightroom. No video work, so not render heavy work. I can re use my old ssd and hdds. $1000 budget, with $200 of that being budgeted for a new monitor.

I use 18MP raw files which are about 24MB a piece. I don't do any 3D rendering. I use CS5 and 6 (some of my plugins dont work on CS6) I have a case, but I would like to get a new one that has easy access to components.
