the wire that was warm was connected to a fan

right i just finished putting my pc together, i turned it on and after about a minute and no signal to the tv it began smoking so i pulled everything out on first sight there dosent seem to be any damage. one of the cables coming from the psu was warm so im hoping its just that and it hasent...

the power button on my case also flashes once turned on, ive tried with 1 stick of ram rather than 2 in all slots. using a gigabyte z97p-d3 motherboard with an i5 processor in a cit goblin mesh case any help will be apreciated.
