My new video card r9 280x started to halve the pictures and restart the computer. Maybe its because a bad driver or. Guy who sold me the gpu had it working

I have an old 500w sl psu and i have a question: Gigabyte gtx 960 has 2 6-pin connectors Because i have old psu i have to buy 2x4 to 6-pin adapter My question is if i could manage with only one 6-pin connector connected to graphics card?

So if i buy one of these do my video card have power to run?

I planned building myself a pc . I have a dilemma whether should i buy a little bit worse gpu (gtx 950 4g instead of gtx 960 2g) and buy 40€ better cpu (from i5 4460 to i5 4590) Or maybe i should go with gtx 960 2g and i5 4460 Is there a big difference between gtx 950 4g and 960 2g HELP WOULD...
