What temperatures are you encountering at full load for the cpu/ gpu setups? Is your gpu o/c at all? If not try to under clock both the core and memory 20-30ghz/ 50-100ghz and see if you are still experiencing the problem.

Just use no-cd patch, gamecopyworld.com has a ton make sure to get the no dvd or cd exe ones that way you wont have to deal with images.

To be honest the stock should be fine, so any heatsink would be ok. You would likely be able to get 4ghz stable if you ran with a 120 though (possibly more).
