So it ended up being the GPU that was busted when I took it to a repair shop to test it because my buddies wouldn't let me test their GPU, they replaced the GPU with another and it worked good so I bought a new GPU and now it runs perfect. To be honest I thought it was the GPU from the beginning...

Yeah I've tried a new cable and replaced the drivers with the newest ones but it didn't work and I don't think its an overheating issue because the temps are normal when the black screen occurs so maybe its just a GPU going bad I've had it for a 1.5 years

So I replaced the PSU with a corsair RM850X and it did not fix the problem do you know what else could cause this issue

It’s a cooler master 500w 80 plus bronze psu that’s only on the hp omen they don’t sell them retail. Do you have a psu you’d recommend for this setup
