Hi, Ive updated the BIOS, I have tried setting it to IDE instead of AHCI. I've switched cables out, different ports. BIOS reads my optical drive just fine, on any port. It sometimes reads the hard drive, at least in the boot section of BIOS (doesnt seem to pick it up under storage options...

New mother board(asrock 990 fatility killer), new hard drive... Have tried others.. Mono will not pick up hard drive, but will p/u optical. I have tried connecting data switch and port with optical drive. Still will not read, have tried other working sata hard drives. Have flashed bios. Please...
