i would go for a rx 580 8gb, is future proof with 8gb vram, performs slightly better than the 1060 6gb in some games and comes under £200 new

i would personally go with an amd gpu - rx 570 4gb or for higher budget rx 580 8gb, but if you want to have a nvidia gpu then i would say 1060 3/6gb , if you can spend some more go for the newly released 1660ti which is equivalent to a 1070. The 1050Ti is an option but I feel its a bit...

Yeah, you might wanna consider a 570 like cyroburner said, but if you can afford to spend more i would go for a rx 580 8gb, but if not then the 1060 or the rx 570

yes you can fit any gpu on to your motherboard, two things to bear in mind - the size of the gpu, will it fit in your case? and your power supply is it powerful enough to provide power to the gpu do you have your specs?

use the sata power connector for that

I had the same problem with my pc, i ordered my psu from ebuyer and asked them to send me a replacement power cable and they did and that seemed to fix the problem.
