i am getting liquid cooling for my computer. Which one should i get h100i or h105

CM Glacier 240L or equivalent. This unit has a copper rad vs aluminum and is expandable if you want to add to it later. I had better temps with the 240L vs 100i and less fan noise.

What modem is good with comcast?

Been using a Motorola SBG6580 modem/router with comcast for several year now, 10+ wifi devices and 5 cabled devices. Good range in large single story home. Only problem with a modem/router is if one fails you replace both. There are better units on the market now, I would read all the reviews...

    Closed loop modding?

As long as you have enough pump to move the coolant it's not that big a deal to open a aio kit. Most have aluminum rads so you have to use a anti corrosive in the coolant.

    Water Cooling- custom vs kit

Cooling your i5 with a possible gpu later I would start with a 360 rad/fans, D5 pump, EK cpu block, Primo ltr tubing, compression fittings and res of your choice. EK-Supremacy $90 http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_971_498_490&products_id=38120...

Radiator Push/Pull - Side by Side different directions?

You well get a lot of turbulence between the top fans and middle fans with a reduction of air flow. I have a similar rear mount but I use a Swiftech mount, it spaces the rad back enough that I have good exhaust flow from the case yet good air flow through the rads.

FX 8320 vdroop dropping to 1.26-1.28v under heavy load and @ 4.4Ghz but still runs stable through IBT, Prime95, and gaming....

I'm running 4.62@1.36v. If it's stable live with it. Your psu has plenty to run that fx and a pair of 280x's. Voltage reported by software may not be 100% accurate.

    4 way SLI watercooling doubts

A loop with 4 gpu blocks is going to be restrictive. You are going to need at least a pair of 360 rads, if not 480's. I would dump the ram cooling it's not needed. Run the gpu's in parallel and a pair of D5's

    Contra-rotating push-pull configuration? Concept discussion

contra, that's a name for various rebel groups from the late 70's early 80's, mainly in South America. Counter rotating blades are normally used to counteract torque, small fans have no torque for practical purposes. Most if not all PC fans rotate counter clockwise.

PSU making strange noises after attempted GPU overclock

"Seventeam 750 watts PSU (bought in 2008 approx)" Noise or not it's time for a new PSU. If you can trace the noise to the psu fan you could possible replace it. Messing around inside a psu is dangerous, high voltage can zap your arse.
