Thank you, ended up having to screw the bracket off completely, and then screw the bracket on the back by itself, and then put the gpu in and screw the bracket on again, but it ended up working, so thank you! Well the PC didn't end up posting, but the gpu got installed at least

I would recommend going with the tomahawk instead, unless your case only support m-atx, then yeah, stick to the mortar, if you are going to upgrade. But yeah these are scary times, so maybe it would make more sense for you to make the upgrade when things are something close to normal again, and...
