so i hooked up the pc to a monitor and am able to enter the bios.windows comes installed in an old hdd i have. i dare not use the fan header that was probably damaged.Just so happy it works!

I do not have much money to buy a new motherboard,so what signs will it show me to tell me that the mobo is still working? (Thats if its working)

I checked if everything still worked using an old psu,the fans were spinning,the motherboard lit up and the cpu fan was spinning.Does it mean that the mobo still works?

how did it turn out? i did the same thing too and experienced the same results. does everything still work?

Hello,so i receny bought some pc parts and assembled it myself. it was about 4am so i was quite tired, and i forgot that the floppy connector was not supposed to go into the system fan connector on the motherboard. At that time I did not have my gpu/hdd/ssd in, only had my ram,mobo,cpu,case...
