Enhanced Sync caused stutters and lag in Forza Horizon 3 and tearing in Tomb Raider. Normal Vsync is still great. I dont understand what amd did with this Enhanced Sync? At moment its useless. RX480/Win10.

Managed to get stable 2666mhz with default timings and 1.2v. Cleared memtest and so far no issues in Witcher 3 for one hour. I will stay with 2666 as I don't want to add more voltage (yet).

I would like to overclock my G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-2400C15S-8GVR DDR4 8GB x 2 (16GB Dual Channel). Default XMP Latency for 2400Mhz is: 15-15-15-35-2N. Can I overclock to 2666 or 3000Mhz? With what timings and voltage? I have Gigabyte B250M D2V motherboard with i5 7500. The bios has the options...

That H110 is a serious bottleneck to 6600k which can become a badass when overclocked on a Z mobo. OP should get a Z270 or atleast a B250 (if he does not want to overclock) as H110 will bottleneck even an i7 and overall performace with its slow DMI speed.

i5 6500 is much better than i3 6100. Neither is going to bottleneck GTX 1050 or even an GTX 1060. So get any that suits your budget. I will buy an i5 if there isn't much price difference.

@anort3: I did buy another 8gb and now have 16gb on dual channel. The game is playable with 45~ fps @ 1440p and I guess I can live with that. Witcher 3 looks too good in 1440p compared to 1080p that I can't go back to 1080p even when I get 90+fps at it. Thanks for your help. Do let me know if...

On fx I was able to get about 20fps at 1440p in Witcher 3. But now I get 40-45 fps with same settings ultra-high mixed and hairworks on. So i5 is working great with RX 480. My question (to anyone who has a non k + b250) is there anything I can further tweak in bios to oc my cpu or just enhance...

I already bought i5 7500 last week. Going solid. Did not even reinstall windows, just changed boards and installed drivers. I don't feel there will be a need to upgrade the cpu for a few years. But if the need be (when I get a gtx 1080 equivalent/vega) and its bottlenecked by i5, I can get an i7...
