shouldnt it still boot up the gpu though?

ive made sure the cables were properly connected serveral times but still to response from the card

i recently built a new pc but for some reason it wont boot up the case fans come on but the gpu doesnt power on and there's no picture. i remember seeing something about maybe needing a bios update for the cpu to be compatible. could this be the root of all my problems?

ok so i did the math and ill have ~$1000 for the pc

that's for BF 3. someone spilt beer into it on christmas and then knocked it off my desk while trying to clean it up

i mean i just need something to run it on low settings smoothly with no frame drops or lag

it depends im just trying to make a pc to use for a few month while i save up to build something solid a couple hundred bucks at most ~5-600 bucks maybe 700

Basicly my old pc bit the dust earlier this month and im wonder how much itd cost me to build a new one to run it on low settings smoothly im not in need of ultra graphic as my funds are depleted atm but how cheap could i go and still run smoothly
