The 400w PSU powered it on. Does that mean the old one is toast and no chance of getting it to work? Also, if the 450w isn't enough for the GPU (512MB) and RAM (4GB) does it run the risk of messing up my hardware at all? If not I'll just run the 400w because this is a temporary use pc anyway...

I installed the easy boot program, but I do not see an option to boot from the hard disk, just Windows 8.1. Is this equivalent to the HDD or Windows Boot Manager?

Yes, I have made sure that it is selected to C:\Program Files(x86) which is the correct location, and no there is no option for custom install, it gives me this error immediately after entering my CD Key to activate it.
