    I believe both of these UN-plugged-in cables are related to the card(s) reader… and, who knows, maybe the little blue light that comes on when the power switch is in the on position.

    The black 9 pin plug is just like a USB plug…. EXCEPT… the blank pin is swapped top for bottom. So it won’t fit a USB board plug
