No , changing slots and resetting the BIOS didn't work. I'll try to see if other PC can recognize the drive, or maybe try and update the firmware again on someone else's system if it's possible. I could just format the drive if windows installation allow it, but I would probably lose all data...

So my system was running fine for a year+ , but my ADATA Spectrix S40G always had performance issues if any lighting software was controlling it. They made a new firmware that corrected it, I updated it today. When the system restarted, it went to BIOS because no bootable device were found...

I'm sure it was the PC because it did shut down right after the sound. I even checked every LED on my components to see if it wasn't one of them, but found nothing. This is my first build btw, really awesome to have something like this happening right away :)

My PC just made a loud bang (can't tell for sure, but it did sound like a capacitor exploding) and turned off immediately after, but it managed to boot itself back up right away without me pressing the power button. I only used the pin to log in and check if all the hardware showed up normally...
