sadly i let me friend choose my build because i dont know much about things but apprently he does not either i will prob upgrade my motherboard soon then

i5-4960k GTX-970 SC i have a msi h81m-e33 could the motherboard be bottlenecking my game fps in game. i feel like people with similar builds get better fps and was doing some research and maybe thinking it is my motherboard. and if it is what should i replace it with.
