Yeah I've learnt my lesson. I did it at the time because I thought it would fix my RAM issues. It turned out that the ram issues were just due to my motherboard not being capable of accepting high density chips. Now this bug won't let me change my RAM config. Even the utilities for this...
I tried that, but the flashing utility (EZflash2) on the bios tells me that this is an older version, and does not let me flash it.
Also my motherboard is the "P7P55D-E LX" I don't know how different it is from the "P7P55D-E".

Hi, I want to bring the bios on my motherboard back to original stock version. I tried doing it using EZflash 2 and it won't let me do it. It won't let me flash an old version. Is there a way around this?
Motherboard is Asus P7P55D-E LX running on windows 10 64bit.
Asus EZflash 2 won't let me downgrade my bios. No idea how to configure the ram settings. Can't get any utility to run either. I should have never updated my bios.
I chose the new ram based on the manufacturer's list of ram compatible with my motherboard.
I will run the memtest but I'm thinking I will do it overnight or when I don't need the PC. Right now I am just trying to access the AI Tweaker and configure the ram on the bios so that I don't have PC...
Sorry I forgot to distinguish between hibernate and sleep. I only use sleep mode.
It seems like I just keep running into problems. Went into Bios trying to configure my Ram, but the bios menu freezes when I try to enter the "Ai Tweaker". I'm just constantly googling trying to figure this thing...
So I upgraded my Ram, you can read about the adventure here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2958221/p7p55d-motherboard-ram-compatibility-problems.html
I am now facing a new problem. My PC now cannot wake up from hibernate mode. When I put my PC to sleep, and then try to wake it up. It...
Yep you guys were right. Using some Crucial low density ram, and it works perfectly fine. Turns out it was the high density chips causing the problem. Glad there are forums like this around, don't know how long it would have taken me to figure this out. Most friends had no clue about it.
This should work fine right?:

I've heard that crucial only do low density ram.
How can I tell a low density chip from a high one? I don't know how to distinguish them. I still can't tell what is compatible with my rig without relying on websites.
Not sure, just looking through everything. I'm trying to find the best performance for the price. Trying to find them as cheap and as cool looking as the ones I originally bought off amazon.
Thank you for that clarification it helps a lot. Tell me do you think this would be compatible with my rig: http://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-FURY-1333MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B00J8E91K4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1454356315&sr=8-2&keywords=DDR3+1333
