I want a desktop OS that is debloated, fast, and has better media center and media converting abilities than 7, I could watch Cortana, Metro, their app store, mobile, and everything else...

Easy when only 50 people play the game anymore. Their new xpac reached what, less than a quarter of people who bought the original? Faction changes, what good is that going to do me on their server mashup that made timeless isle a crowded mess with 10x as many players as mobs?

It has to have the key on the server to read anything encrypted, if it is just comparing HASHES that is a completely different thing.

Metro is just what the ugly interface was called, the real travesty here is the insistence by Microsoft to ram metro and all importantly for them, the stupid app store nobody wants along with it. All I and 95% of desktop users want is a stable, secure, fast desktop OS that handles desktop...

Duh Microsoft, nobody WANTS windows 8 for ANY price - even if you were giving it away free 95% of people on XP would stay with the better OS, XP. Intentionally making it obsoletely won't change the bald fact that Windows 8 sucks and nobody wants to put it on their machine.

Yes, Windows 8 really IS that bad, I didn't spend $5000 on a high end desktop so it can look like a phone. Windows 7 shouldn't still cost $100 or more if it wasn't selling 5x as fast as Windows 8 to this day.

Does a betrayed fan crying and stomping on a copy of Diablo 3 Office Space style stand a chance of winning? Somehow I think the corporate crybabies at blizzard wouldn't give it the props it truly deserves since it accurately reflects how most of us feel about their D- game.

Linux is free and way better than windows 8.
