Just got a Samsung 990 Pro 4tb to replace the Crucial with (only single sided 4tb drive with dram out there that i know of.) Probably just a lemon i got with the P3 as my other one had no issues with large data transfers and its in my laptop as a secondary drive.

transferring 1.8TB from WD SN770 2TB inside an Asus ROG NVME Enclosure to a WD 850X 4TB NVME inside a PCIE 4x4 slot on my Asus PN53 Mini PC was fine. I didnt see any issues or significant slow down of speeds. Both drives have DRAM Caching and are TLC and the 4TB is a Double sided NVME.
