What could I have fried if the card works on other systems, and my system works fine with another card?

I meant I used a single cable that divides into 2 8(6+2) PCIe connectors. Now that you mention it, it could not have been a part of this unit. I have tried the CMOS reset. I also tried out another PSU (850W). And the cables I tried to switch out were from the same unit, just 1x16 pin power connection instead of 2x8 pin.
