Which is harder, softer: AKRacing, DXRacer?

That's just terrible, there is no place to talk about these chairs. And I have a feeling that this one of these places where certain requests are more viewed with voyeurism rather than as a real post or topic.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32ohms vs 80 ohms

The difference should be small enough to be merely a matter of adjustment - however I would consider upgrading with even a small external device. By the way, amps are overrated relative to DACs (sound chips) or vice versa DACs are underrated. One can do the test with an amp to the internal...

    Keyboard or case

I wouldn't go so high with a keyboard in the first place. Not above let's say 70$ (not so sure about prices in dollars, I would still go a little lower in euros).

Which is harder, softer: AKRacing, DXRacer?

I've made some bad experience with racing/gaming chairs which were just too hard, in one case I was fooled by the appearance of the "cushioning" which was still hard as rock. (Nitro Concepts S300, monstrous.) Those brands are kind of the "originals", and while they still count as relatively...

    (Upgrading/Sidegrading to) SSD vs SSHD

Ultimately went with both, by the way, if that wasn't apparent. A "high-speed" Toshiba P300 1TB HDD and an Amazon offer of the Crucial BX300 240GB. Without the offer, I would have been screwed regarding prices and quality of SSDs though.

Good desk/gaming chair, fixed price, limited options

I've noticed the boulies Titanium has a backrest of only 80cm height. Somehow I assumed it was 90cm. I think it should be about 85cm high, and that should actually be usable but not dead height. I also ruled out a Sharkoon Skiller SG2, because I am unsure about the use of the pillow for the...

Good desk/gaming chair, fixed price, limited options

The "unknown" more expensive companies seem to be Need for Seat and Vertagear, by the way. Maybe others too, with such a more cushioned, bulky design.

Good desk/gaming chair, fixed price, limited options

Hello, Im looking at a few options for gaming chairs for a "low price" of 200€ and have a few specific questions about them. For one, this one here, the "boulies Titanium Series Master Edition" (actually not ordering from amazon.co.uk myself, never mind)...

    (Upgrading/Sidegrading to) SSD vs SSHD

Well, from the reactions people seem to me a little superstitious about SSDs (makes up 70% of a functional build, has to be even faster than the previous generation) and "hybrids" equally.

    (Upgrading/Sidegrading to) SSD vs SSHD

It's what I can get for around 75€, partly with coupon. Ands 70€ is pretty much the best price, even on ebay. Kingston: https://geizhals.de/kingston-a400-ssd-240gb-sa400s37-240g-a1616800.html Two Intensos: https://geizhals.de/intenso-top-iii-ssd-256gb-3812440-a840395.html?hloc=at&hloc=de...

    (Upgrading/Sidegrading to) SSD vs SSHD

Well, it would be Kingston or Intenso now, because that's what's on offer. Definitely not staying on the external drive (and I know what I can do with it).

    (Upgrading/Sidegrading to) SSD vs SSHD

Hello, so I use an old external 1TB HDD in addition to my 1TB WD Blue main drive. Yesterday I noticed a kind of rattling sound from the external drive and thought I should better get a new drive soon. Now I see myself before the option of getting a SSHD with the same size or an SSD with at...

Nvidia CEO On Intel's GPU, AMD Partnership, And Raja Koduri

The term GPU was first introduced for graphics chips with Transform and Lighting-capability (for polygons/3D, until then the CPU's job), and later Vertext Shaders, until finally simply "Shaders" (which do all kinds of stuff). Nvidia's Geforce was the first GPU, until then graphics cards did...

3000MHz single channel vs 2400MHz dual channel

If the RAM is decent, as this one is, and has also been tested. It is a very small overclock, with practically no tweaking involved (which it where it really gets "not guaranteed"). I have this myself (16GB), and it is much reviewed. You can of course Memtest. Also, it's in my opinion the best...

3000MHz single channel vs 2400MHz dual channel

I might get the set, and overclock it at least to 2666, which should be no problem and make up practically any difference between the alternatives, and almost as good as it gets. 2400 is already the main threshold for decent, stable frames, and 2666 is the next major step (after that...
