I am planning on switching out my CPU in my PC and was wondering if I do switch out my CPU will it delete any of the data on my PC or can I just replace it without worrying.

Hello, I was thinking about changing out my cpu cooler and was wondering if anyone knew how to remove a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, the main problem is the thermal paste that is attached to the cpu and heat sync, anyone know how to remove it or have a good video? Thanks in advance Matt.
