Cant afford the i3 as its price is equivalent to the amd cpu and mobo combined( whichever of the 2 i mentioned i buy). So the fx 4300 is better because of the upgrade path it provides or is it just faster and has better performance than 7600 irrespective of the inbuilt graphics it has?

shouldnt be a problem i think. though i dont have any personnel experience of running 2 monitors. the 78lmt mobo has support for vga, hdmi and dvi. but the 970a, you cant use without a graphic gard. so go with the first mobo. for your budget, these are the best you can buy in any case. :)

yup, it will run fine. multitasking wont be a problem as long as you are not doing it while runinng a game in windowed mode. you can always buy 4 more gb of ram when you have money to spend. but make sure its the same company and speed.

well, in that case, you could buy the first motherboard and a corsair vs 550 or corsair cx 500 for the remaining money. both have guarranteed 85 % efficiency and will do the job for this system. that should be around 200 -220 altogether including shipping i think ( which might even be free ). :)

in that case, you are good to go with the 6300 and either of the 2 motherboards i have mentioned. i have tried both the motherboards and they are a great match for this processor and you can even upgrade to a 8450 in the future with these. i currently have 8 gb ram on my system. im getting more...
