Thanks ..in my reading seems like amd..is on the ball...with Intel lagging would rather go newer platform and DDR 5 memory..so down the road I could get an upgrade from my rtx 2060.....seems like it's gonna be amd. Thanks everyone..things are clearer now..

Us it mainly for gaming...alot of fps stuff and a little posting YouTube videos...etc trying to keep build cheaper for now with room to grow...later. just trying to get past win 11 restrictions..but also have decent rig for my uses without ditching current hardware at the moment..

Stock Intel cooler, so it could probably be upgraded also will all these various builds work with my current ddr4....kind of only budget for mb/ CPU switch with memory...change down the road abit...

Ok..just follow up...my motherboard is socket 1151 lga.. is there any CPU that I could replace my current 7700k... without motherboard change?? Or just better overall to change mb and CPU wit current existing hardware?? Just wondering. Thanks
