the sata cables were disconnected, thanks. So i booted up windows and it was fine, but the cpu was clocked to 2.00GHZ. After raising the multiplier and the voltage, the system is stable at 3.7ghz. it crashes sometimes but its solid at 3.5ghz. thanks for the help
