AMD Radeon HD 6670 great for watching movies (very high HQV 2.0 score) and too weak to play heavy games. To make the system much faster try to buy and install SSD.
I think people just use a RAM Disk if you want to build a supercomputer, not web browsing. Better if you buy a SSD and install a larger internet bandwidth.
Using high-speed memory (example: Corsair Dominator CMT16GX3M4X2133C9) to run at lower speed (1600 MHz CL 8 @1.5V) on X79 motherboard, does this give more stability?
DDR3 Overclocking with Intel Extreme Memory Profile
Actually how important Intel XMP Certified Memory for X79 motherboard?
Is this certification ensures more stability (at 1600 MHz or higher) than the memory that is not certified?
The most important part of choosing the brand today is reliability. SSD technology has not been reliable as Hard Disk Drive technology. Some of the brands that are considered reliable enough at the moment: Crucial m4, Intel X25-M, Samsung 830.
Logically, if you want to use Sandforce powered SSD with RAID 0 mode, ideal solution is to use two Intel SSD 520 Series (better with two same capacity). Of course with TRIM support in RAID 0 mode. :D
Samsung SSD 830 Series is something that is beautiful from the outside, but ugly from the inside. Compared with competitors, this thing is faster to read, but slower to write.
pedro_mannUsing current silicon technology, I am pretty sure a 7970 won't run full load at 100 watts TDP, let alone the extra three, and add in the 100 cpu cores and you are sunk. You are describing like a 500 watt design. Now imagine what temperature that much energy in that small amount of...
I think they should make a 100-core CPU with integrated graphics on a single chip. Working in 64-bit environment with a maximum TDP of 100 Watts, and supports DirectX 11. The integrated graphics have performance equivalent 4-way CrossFireX HD 7970. Too bad they have not think about it ...
