Thanks for your response. I tried a new cord that seemed a bit tighter--same result. But the old cord didn't actually seem loose, so I'm guessing that moving the cord even slightly breaks a connection inside. I haven't tried taking it apart yet, but I suppose I should try that.
I’ve got a Dell Monitor (E207WFP) that works well except when I move it; then the power goes, but comes right back when I push the power cord firmly into the base of the monitor. So, I thought it’s likely a loose connection, simple enough to fix.
But a local shop tell me that an LCD monitor...
My usage is ordinary; online, I stream videos, search www, send & receive email. Offline I use mostly Word, some Excel, etc. No gaming, or heavy graphics use.
