sorry no its a custom system, I installed a copy of win7 pro 64 a friend had with an xtra license. I'm not concerned with the data theirs just so much junk I want to give him at least 250g to work with

is your boot device set correctly in the BIOS? if it's set for an external boot then it might not work. after you install windows you may have to change the boot device to your HD as a boot device, otherwise it's looking for a disc or external source to boot from.

I'm geteeing a new pc and I have pushed my old hd to the limit (30g of 500) I want to delete everything but win 7 but it's not partitioned. how do I do this? please help
