I found out my arrays get degraded no matter what the write cache settings are. Any ideas?

I found out that the one mechanical hard drive that would refuse to be recognized by the controller is defective, when connected to a different computer, and diagnostics are ran. I still don't know what's wrong with the rest of the stuff. Why can't I have the write cache enabled without problems?

Is it true that HDCP only applies when using a source with HDCP? I thought HDCP only activates if the source is protected, and you try to connect it to a destination that doesn't have HDCP.

I purchased the Nepton 120XL.

I actually ended up getting a Asus NVIDIA GTX 780 DirectCUII 3GB OC Edition, for around $240. I can still get new Windows XP Pro 64bit drivers for it, at least for now. I can have a dual boot system with it, so that card had a big plus for me.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

The NH D15 is 165 mm tall with the fan, so it may not fit in the case. How many years can I expect a nepton cooler to last? How does the NH D9L compare to the Nepton 120XL?
