Had this happen to me on a Gigabyte OC 3080. Sent it in for an RMA, Gigabyte said it was user error and they wouldn't do anything about it. Glad to see I wasn't wrong that the card was an issue.

Guess I gotta go back to trouble shooting.. Getting a "Hardware Failure detected" running aida64, but can stress test my cpu using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility for an hour straight and it's all good..

I've been looking at getting a new monitor, focusing on the LG 34GK950F-B (UW, 1440p, 144hz), and the Acer Predator XB273K (4K,1440hz). My question is, would it make sense to buy the 4k monitor and bump it down to 2k until new GPU's come out that are the right price for performance?
