Try the other PCIE slot, and dissable the HD graphics in the BIOS. You could have a bad PCIE slot or a bad GPU. Make sure all your connectors are pushed in and realy check to make sure the the GPU is all the way pushed in and try a new Power connector if you have one If your not putting...

Yea it could just be because the cooler on the card isnt the best. Zotac isnt know for good GPU coolers. If it has been happening for a while it could just be the card. You should be fine running it at 60 just make sure the rest of the comp does not heat to those levels
