Question Laptop reports wrong RAM amount and Memtest86+ shows errors ?

Aha, so it is the ram issue, just with onboard ram. First time i heard about onboard ram, though i did find it somewhat weird that there was exactly 4gb 'surplus'. Thanks.

Question Laptop reports wrong RAM amount and Memtest86+ shows errors ?

Hello, this one is kinda strange. Laptop model: Asus X555DG This laptop reports MORE memory than there actually is, 4gb stick reported as 8gb, and 8gb stick is reported as 12GB - in BIOS, Windows 10 task manager, and CPU-Z. Another thing - in Memtest86+ v5.0.1 it managed to pass every test...

Question Realistically, what is the PERFORMANCE difference between FEs and AIBs when it comes to NVIDIA cards?

Just my personal thoughts, not really scientifically proven anyhow: From what i understand performance difference between so called 'worst' and 'best' cards within the same model is something like 5%. Biggest difference comes in cooling solution and component/build quality. My own conclusion...

Question RTX 3070 good for 1440p gaming?

3070Ti here - started Cyberpunk 2077 - 2K, RT off, ~High settings - 110 frames with dips to 90 in more populated areas. Looks good enough i'd say.

Question MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G fan replacement

Hello, i'm a bit of a slowpoke so i've only recently heard that early batches of those had a hardware defect - sometimes one fan refuses to spin while under load(slight nudge is enough to 'fix' it). So i'm looking to replace them, question is - there are few connector types(6 wires 6 pins, 5...

[SOLVED] Should i upgrade GTX 970 or keep waiting for better times?

Hi! So i currently use 4GB GTX 970, is it worth upgrading to RTX 3050 if there is a chance to get it at MSRP or close to that? How much would it affect performance(games ofc)? Would there be founders edition of it sold by nvidia? Just in case - my CPU is Ryzen R5 2600, and PSU is Corsair CX650

    Question RAM compatibility question

Trying isn't exactly an option for me. So i'd rather be sure they are compatible. Anyway what those numbers after '.' mean? This thread only covers part number before dot.

    Question RAM compatibility question

Hello, i currently have one 8gb stick - BLS8G4D240FSE.16FBD2 Bought another one, but due to my negligence it ended up being BLS8G4D240FSEK.8FBD - essentially same stats but slightly different product code kinda worries me. All i could gather is that letter K means single rank memory - which...
