Intel Pentium G3258 CPU Review: Haswell, Unlocked, For $75

Everyone is forgetting that the Asrock b85M mobo has the ability to OC this chip ;) What, that mobo is like 70-80 bucks? Wisest man of all combines the asrock with the Pent Up G Banger and goes to town... all for the same price as a moderate Z board :D Pair it with just the right GPU and...

Can't decide between the Asus gtx 770 2GB and the Sapphire r9 280x 3gb toxic.

Go Asus direct cu II geforce gtx 770 as the extra cooling provides better OC headroom and a quieter, more stable card all round. You shouldn't believe the radeon hype. They always say that their cards outperform but they seldom do. Go forth and conquer!

Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC or Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II OC 3GB

OK those cards are fairly equal in strength but the 290 will be noisier under load, take more power and won't OC as well. The 780 only wins due to the direct cu II that provides 20% better cooling... Which translates to quieter and more OC headroom, more stable too

Will a 600 watt psu that has 12v dual rails with 35 amps combined be enough for a Radeon R9 290?

Your Psu is poo and needs to be upgraded immediately.

    Will a R9 280X run on my Power Supply? 750W 4x +12V 20A Rail's

Prettttttty sure that gpu requires 30a on the 12v maaaaate. I could be wrong though (*゚▽゚)ノ

    AMD R9 280x Power Consumption.

Except doing the bare minimum is a good way to age that sexy fine Psu and cause ripples more frequently but hey, long as all the sensitive equipment isn't worth that much to you then go for it. (read sarcasm )

Asus ROG Mars760 or single EVGA GTX 780 Classified?

OK... Orrrrr back in reality we could be a tad bit truthful, eh? Sorry to say but the r9 290x is absolutely notorious for kind of noise, heat and power that makes people go with nvidia. BTW, aftermarket nvidia cards provide a real boost in performance instead of trying to cover up bad...

Asus ROG Mars760 or single EVGA GTX 780 Classified?

Yeah but the r9 290x is a jet engine, power hungry, heat crazy card. If you care about noise, electricity bills or overall case heat then I would go NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNVIDIA

Want to get a GTX 780ti, is my build compatible?

Yeah, uhhh, also check out your power supply to see if it can crank the amount of amps needed on the 12v rail that you plug that beast into. In all honesty everything else in your system will bottleneck the 780ti soooo you may want to consider upgrading all the things! Go forth and conquer!

is the gtx 780ti the best way to go?

ditch the evga and go the Asus Direct CU II Geforce GTX 780 ti. The extra cooling will give you better headroom if you ever want to OC or will just be a more quiet, more stable card that will let you maxx ALL THE THINGS!!! Go forth and conquer!

    My PSU and a 780ti

+1, it's not all about wattage, it's mostly about how many amps can be provided safely on the rail. XFX and Seasonic should suit that nice expensive card of yours ;)

Asus GTX 780 ti DirectCU II OC causes reboots ?

I would imagine the PSU is more than enough to handle it... though I would double check if it actually supplies the right ampage on whichever rail it's plugged into. If the PSU is a single rail then it should be adequate... doesn't mean the PSU isn't the problem and you should probably have a...

Asus Directcu II OC GTX 770 Temperatures

I have your exact same card and it never goes above 60c... It's auto set to increase the fan when it hits 60c and I think the fan has only ever gone to about 67% usage. If airflow isn't really the issue in your case(PUN TOTES INTENDED) then I would assume something is wrong with the card. I...

Msi GeForce gtx 770 2gb PC or asus gtx 770 directcu oc 2gb?

Always Asus Direct CU II. The extra 20% cooling gives you OC headroom and a quieter PC in general. IT should last longer, looks better and is just generally more awesome. :D
