    The card gets power, the fans function but still no display. Has been tried in both pci-e slots.

    This problem also happened previously with a GTX 560 card... My Specs: PSU: Corsair builder series 600w MoBo: ASUS M5A97 Pro Graphics Card: XFX AMD R9 270x CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 960T RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz DDR3 (2x4GB)

    After purchasing a new GPU (XFX Radeon R9 270x) When seated correctly in the motherboard the VGA LED is a solid red, there also appears to be no power going to the card as the fans aren't powering up... Motherboard is an ASUS M5a97

    Is there a way of being positive the power supply is to blame (even though it most likely is) without buying a new one and testing a replacement? also if I were to buy a new one would you suggest I get the same wattage but an 80+ Bronze certified PSU? Thanks for the fast reply
