    Installed and did not boot at all and I just by coincidence came across the video in my original post. Checked my CPU and it's was the same. Luckily I had access to a working real one too which helped.

    It was second hand from a clearance auction company John Pye that are now asking for a report as to why it's fake. Does any one in the UK know someone that can do this?

    The one on the right is a working 7800x3d. I have taken the photos. It not a screen shot. The real one on the right just looks a bit darker on the photo.

    Well I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't come across der8auer video (Fake 7800x3d). but I have been sold a fake Ryzen 7800X3D that matched his video exactly. Watch out people. View: https://imgur.com/a/dmN7nXX CPU on the left is the fake. CPU on right is real.
