HI I updated the bios from within windows. It does access the HDD at the very start of turning on then no activity from the HDD at all. I have put a windows install disc in and it seems to access the disk but stops before anything loads.

I have also just put a jumper on the RTCRST pins, to reset the bios and still nothing. I took the memory out and tried to boot it and got the usual error code. but then I replace the memory and boot it....nothing. the white led on the power switch is solid white, no errors.

I have just tried to boot with the pswd jumper taken off (to reset the bios) then placed the jumper back on, and I still havent got anything on the screen. It seems to be stuck before the bios and dell splash screen. Ive just updated it to the new bios that dell suggested, after updating it...
