Ended up getting it fixed. Installed Fedora on USB and ran TestDisk to repair the partitions. Then I was able to reset bootrec and get Windows booting again. Donated $25 to TestDisk. That dude saved my life! Thank you guys for help.
Oh for real? That must be what happened. I have a mac that I'm installing bootcamp on so that I can burn the bootable disks, but otherwise I don't really have a way to run any test software on the internal SSD. Any recommendations? Thanks for your help.
Disk 0 is currently corrupt/ not booting windows after a recent crash. Disk 1 is empty. Disk 2 is the bootable USB of Windows 10 ISO which I am trying to use to fix Disk 0. As it stands, "Repair StartUp" is not working, so I'm trying to access the drive this way and do a bootrec fixmbr etc on it.
Awesome. Thanks so much. The recent crash I mentioned sent my drive into the "reboot and select proper boot device error", so I can't gather detailed specs ATM. Once I'm back up, I absolutely will.
re: signatures on mobile: Oh that's great to know, thanks.
Well, unfortunately, and on a slightly unrelated note, the crash actually corrupted windows or the drive, so I'm currently trying to get past the "reboot and select proper boot device error" :/ as well as optimize windows once it's back...
Hey everyone,
New to Windows here so I'm just wondering how (if at all) I can get Windows to run faster? It runs ok, but start up is not super quick and apps take longer to start up than I expected. They aren't loading "slow" per-say, however, with the specs I have, I would assume they'd run a...

Oh damn! I put the board back in the first slot, doubled up power to the card as well as the CPU, and then (which I think was the key) I pulled the battery for 10 minutes and reset CMOS. I'm seeing the light!!! Thank you guys so much! Rock on.
Quick edit: I removed the second power cables from...
I don't know guys. Same issue. Neither of those efforts worked unfortunately. It sounds like the card is trying to boot itself about 3 times. It's onboard fans rev up for about 2 seconds at a time (3 times).
Hey guys. Thanks for the responses. I've put the card in and made certain of solid connection. Now when I boot, the mobo is reporting an issue in the VGA and boot LEDs. Still nothing on monitor.
I believe that to be incorrect, assuming OP has a AM4 Ryzen 5 3600x. Only reason I know that is because I'm dealing with the same issue right now with a brand new build and have had to do a ton of research. Here's the supported CPU list from ASRock's site. Running the same mobo myself, but I'm...
