Another thing, since you keep mentioning watching Youtube at 1080p. If you use Chrome, download the h264ify extension (I think there are versions for Opera and Firefox as well). It will force Youtube stream H.264 videos instead of VP8/VP9 videos which are generally more CPU and GPU demanding
