Have tried power cycling many times, as I wrote in the post it used to work for me but this time it doesn't. I don't think it has anything to do with the power cable since it works with the DVI cable. I guess I need to invest in another display port and hope for the best.

Well, that sucks. I'm still searching for a solution then.

Tried it, didn't work unfortunately. Maybe I should just try a HDMI cable, I guess that might work. Thnak you for the suggestion though :)

I've come across this problem with my monitor, where the DP cable I normally use will give "no signal", which has happened before but I solved it by unplugging it and plugging it back, now that doesn't work. I then took a DVI cable instead which worked, but when I turn on 144 hz the screen will...
