@Robocod The first thing you need to do is look at the required spec for the games you intend to use and then find a pc with higher spec to future proof it. You mention pc world ..... they sell pc's and laptops that are called made to price. Example .... they sell dell brand but the same...

The red and green light you are refering to should be on all the time .... then you say a green light indicates you have a problem ??? on motherboards their are quite a few lights that will be on all the time even if the pc is plugged in but not turned on. .... if your psu switch is off i dont...

Many years ago i stopped using cd's to do individual back ups of assorted items because i got fed up with finding out that 5 of the pack of 20 were faulty. I now use flash drives to make back ups of music in my car , documents , photos , videos , save game files and copies of utility programs...
