Thanks Suztera, but what will pulling the CMOS battery do? This is a brand new motherboard that I just bought yesterday. Update: managed to get Windows to finish installing but the computer freezes after about 2 mins of being loaded.

The problem now is I cant even boot into Windows because it freezes before it will complete the installation.

Ok will do, I didnt think to do the Memtest in dual channel mode. I'll have a look for the SSD update as well and perform that. I think my motherboard is up to date and I'm 75% sure i'm not overclocked. I could reset the CMOS to be sure but I'm not 100% sure what will happen when I do that...
