Honestly, it really depends. Fans are highly replacable, so no issues there. Basically, if you treat it well, it can last indefinitely. (as long as it is high enough quality and is not made out of flimsy plastic)

Here's my problem: The Audio ports on my MSI Z97 gaming 5 have this grainy feeling to them, and same with the front panel audio ports. BUT, my monitor(with HDMI connection) produces normal sound, which confounds me. I have the Realtek High Definition Driver installed. So what could be the issue?
