MSI H67MS-E23 (B3) - Having issues updating the BIOS

I just received an Ivy Bridge i5 CPU in the mail that I intend to swap out with my old i3. The BIOS needs to be updated to support the Ivy Bridge CPU, so I went to MSI's support page for my motherboard and downloaded the 13.2 version at the top of the page. My current BIOS version is E7680IMS...

"Windows could not finish configuring the system. To attempt to resume configuration, restart the computer."

I built my gaming PC a few years back and I realized it's long overdue for a reformat. In fact, this is the first time the PC in question has been reformatted. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM). I put the disc in, boot from disc, and went through all the steps to format my HDD and do a...

H67 MOBO compatible with i7-3770 CPU

Why do you recommend an i5 versus an i7? My video card right now is the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB. I should clarify that I'm looking to future-proof my PC so that I won't have to make another upgrade relatively soon, thus the pull for the i7.

H67 MOBO compatible with i7-3770 CPU

I built a new PC back in September of 2007 and used the MSI H67MS-E23 (B3) MOBO partnered with an Intel Core i3-2100 Sandy Bridge. Recently, I've decided that I wanted to upgrade my CPU and GPU for better gaming. The CPU I'm looking at is the Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge. I have heard that...

    ASUS Laptop Screen Cracked

I bought my girlfriend an ASUS laptop for Christmas from Best Buy. I did not get the Black Tie Protection because I thought, "Hey, she's responsible. I won't ever have to use that." Unfortunately, she had an accident and dropped the laptop, cracking what seems to be the inner glass of the...
