I can only get 133/133 I read that there is a new BIOS but i cannot locate it in the ECS website. The newest BIOS doesn't allow anything other then 100 / 133 And none of the BIOS describtion saids you can overclock with it. Please assist. Thanx

OK, Asus....... remember A7V.. Dipswitches absent during first few revisions, but in the instruction booklets, it did have "jumper free mutliplier switch" in the features page....This is OK, i mean.. fine.. then i just adjust the Vcore and I/O and FSB to clock for the time being... A few days...

i have both A7V modified to give 2.11V, 650@900@ 2.11 @ 53C KT7-RAID give me a max of 930-ish instead of 900 with 1.85V. Overclockability - KT7 is better..

EBs are generally bad for o/cing VIA are not as stable as intel 815 or BX... (some mb that is) RAM is 133 (i assume is -75) which is going to max out at around 140 things are looking bad bro.....

yup no problem u'll need to make sure that ur L1 bridges in ur duron is closed, and i hope u didn't buy the new durons... those dun have the golden bridges as we speak. (they have instructions on how to close the L1 brdges here) then make sure u have a A7V with the dip switches if u have, then...

there is no absolute "range" for a temp. to be at. but on average, it should be about 40ish when idle, and a max of 55. but if u really want a ranged answer, idle should be 41-46, working 48-55.

since u go tit running in 9.5x, so of cuz u did the birdges. duh~ not try and get a more powerfull powersupply if urs is a 350W, change it. not good enough to give the CPU a "smooth flow" of electrons.. and if that failed, i guess u can try solaring a resistor on as instructed which i dun...

Mag, those duron does overclock... GREAT...... it runsabout 10-15 hotter. www.arcticsilver.com check it out. get one. is far most the best thermo compound i ever used. BUt, it have its downside... the prise...... i can get 100G of normal compand with the $ to get a tube! (one tube is about 6.5G)
