Nevermind, I disovered the fan noise is probably from the ATI 4800 series video card fan when scrolling in Internet Explroer. This issue can be solved by turning off "Use smooth scrolling" in IE8. Just go to the Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > Use Smooth Scrolling (uncheck this).

My FX6800 makes an annoying buzzing sound that revs up when I am scrolling in Windows Explorer. When idle there is a humming sound but it revs up and gets louder when I scroll through things on screen. Any idea how to solve this, anyone else notice this on their stock FX6800 rigs or am I just...
