I think I found out what happened. I have a * power strip and I wasn't protected. The lightning screwed me as my PSU was grounded.

Ok so on my plug hub or whatever it's called, there are outlets titled "surge" and outlets titled "ground" and I had it plugged into the ground one during the thunderstorm. Should it have been in surge?

Could a thunderstorm or something have hurt it? There was a thunderstorm a couple days ago and it hasn't been the same since.

I'm just worried it is not the part. Could it be my outlet? It works with other things. Should I stay away from that outlet this time around to be safe?

My computer won't even turn on now. If I replug it, it'll switch on, then switch off real quick, then not even switch on. I hope none of my other components fried. I just pulled out the PSU power cord and I'm planning on calling XFX in the morning.
