Ik this is probably like i really dumb thing to say, but like why is that formatting fixes it? like what does it do that makes everything better? is it like because the new mother board with the other parts like corrupt some stuff making my pc kind of slower?

I had problems when i bought a new PC with my audio so i was forced to buy a mixer and it worked, but another problem occurred which was that my sounds were reversed, meaning i hear stuff that are to my left on my right, and the same thing from the other side. Anyone had the same problem? If so...
